How TumileChat keeps random chat for adults, where the report button sits, what gets an account removed, and where moderation has its limits. Reviewed by the TumileChat safety team · September 2026

Grown-ups only, no exceptions
TumileChat is built for adults. Every user has to be 18 or over, full stop. When we find an account run by someone younger, we close it, and we do not wait for a second warning. If you meet someone in a match who looks or sounds underage, end the call and report it. That report goes to the top of the pile.
The age rule also shapes the rest of the rulebook. Random video chat puts strangers face to face, so we ask everyone to act the way they would if the other person were standing in front of them. Most people already do. The rules below exist for the few who do not.
The report button lives where trouble happens
You never have to hunt for a way to flag someone. Every one-on-one call on TumileChat, whether video, voice or text, has a report button on screen for the whole session. Every live room has one too. Tap it, choose the reason that fits best, and the session is sent to our safety team for review.
Reporting and skipping work together. Press report, then press next, and you are already talking to someone else while we look into it. The person you reported is not told who flagged them. You do not need screenshots or a long explanation; picking the right reason is usually enough for us to know what to look for.
Live rooms play by the same rules
A live room is not a free-for-all just because more people are watching. The person streaming has to follow the same community rules as anyone in a one-on-one call, and that includes every viewer who types in the chat box. Insults in the chat, spam links, or pressure to send gifts all count as rule breaks.
If a room makes you uncomfortable, swipe to the next one. If it crosses a line, use the report button inside the room before you leave, so our team can see what was on screen at the time.
What gets an account removed
Our community guidelines spell out the full list. The short version is that these behaviours end in a ban, often on the first offence:
- Anyone under 18 using the service, or anyone sexualising a minor in any way.
- Exposing yourself, or sexual content aimed at someone who did not ask for it.
- Threats, hate speech, or harassment based on race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Recording someone and sharing or threatening to share the clip.
- Scams: asking for money, gift cards or payment details, or steering people to outside sites.
- Spam, fake accounts, bots, and pretending to be TumileChat staff.
- Coaxing people to hand over phone numbers, addresses or passwords.
What moderation can and cannot do
We would rather be straight with you than promise a spotless feed. Our team reviews reports, and we remove accounts that break the rules. Repeat offenders get blocked from coming back on the same account. That covers a lot, but no service that connects strangers live can check every second of every call before it happens.
So the honest picture is this: TumileChat reduces the chance of a bad match and acts quickly when you tell us about one, but the first line of defence in any live conversation is you. The next button ends a match instantly. The report button makes sure the same person has a harder time doing it again. Use both freely.
Small habits that keep you in control
Each of these is easy on its own, and combined they leave a stranger very little to work with.
- Keep your full name, school, workplace and home address out of the chat, and out of view of the camera.
- Check what is behind you before the first call. Mail, windows and name badges give away more than you think.
- Start in text or voice if you are not ready to be seen. Video can wait until a later match.
- However good the story sounds, a match never gets your money or gift card codes.
- Do not move a conversation to another app just because someone pushes for it.
- Remember anyone can screen-record. If you would not want it saved, do not show it.
- If something feels off, leave right then. Nobody is owed a reason for it.
Share only what you pick
You can start matching as a guest, and a profile is optional from day one. When a match lands, the other person sees a short card listing your nickname, age, country, level and the language you speak. Those few lines are the whole first impression, so go with a nickname other than your real full name and one detail already stays yours.
Signing in is there to keep your coin balance and settings with you when you swap phones or browsers, not to collect more about you. Anything extra you add to your profile, or say in a call, is your call. A good rule on TumileChat: if you would not tell it to a stranger on a train, keep it out of a random match too.
Your money gets the same care
Safety is not only about who you meet. TumileChat never starts a paid call behind your back: if your balance is short, we ask you to top up first. Gifts come with a confirmation step so a slip of the thumb does not spend coins. Anyone who messages you promising free coins, a hack or a modded app is running a scam; we never ask for your password, and staff never contact you through a match.
Tell us what we missed
For anything that happens inside a call, the report button gets there fastest. Anything the button cannot capture, like trouble that carried on once the call ended, a concern about a live room, an account you think was restricted by mistake, or a safety idea, belongs in a message through the contact page. Include your nickname and roughly when it happened so we can find the session.
If you are weighing up whether Tumile chat suits you at all, our plain-spoken answer to is Tumile safe walks through the risks and the protections side by side. And if anyone ever threatens you with real harm, contact your local police first; we will cooperate with them on our side.

FAQ
TumileChat safety questions
How do I report someone on Tumile?
Tap the report button that stays on screen during every call and in every live room, then choose a reason. The session goes to the TumileChat safety team for review.
Will the person know I reported them?
No. Reports are anonymous to the other person. You can press next straight after reporting and carry on chatting.
What is the minimum age for TumileChat?
You must be 18 or older. Accounts belonging to anyone younger are closed as soon as we find them.
What gets you banned on Tumile chat?
Nudity aimed at others, harassment, hate speech, scams, recording people without consent, spam and underage use all lead to removal. Serious cases are banned on the first offence.
Does TumileChat moderate video calls?
Our safety team reviews reported sessions and removes rule breakers. We cannot pre-screen every live second, which is why next and report both stay on screen for the whole call.
Is it safe to share my social media on Tumile?
We suggest waiting until you trust someone. Handles, phone numbers and locations can be used to find you off the platform.
Can someone record my Tumile video call?
Screen recording happens on the other person's own device, and no app can fully block it. Recording someone to share or threaten them is banned, and you should report it.
Someone asked me for money on TumileChat. What should I do?
Do not send anything. Report the account from the call and press next; requests for money or gift cards are a scam and break our rules.
What does a stranger see about me on Tumile chat?
Your match card shows your nickname, age, country, level and language. Using a nickname that differs from your real name keeps one more personal detail private.
Can I appeal if my account was restricted?
Yes. Email support with your nickname and what you think went wrong, and a member of the team will review the decision.
Chat on your terms. Leave on them too.
Next ends a match in one tap. Report makes sure the rule breakers do not stay.
