Community Guidelines
TumileChat works because strangers are willing to take a chance on each other. These guidelines are how we keep that chance worth taking. They apply to every video, voice and text match, every message, every profile and every live room.
The spirit of it
Be the kind of stranger you would want to meet. Say hello, be curious, and let people leave when they want to. Skipping someone is fine; so is being skipped. Nobody owes anyone a longer conversation.
Adults only
Nobody under 18 may use TumileChat. Anyone who appears to be younger should be reported right away. Sexual content involving minors, or any attempt to contact a minor, leads to immediate closure and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.
Not allowed on TumileChat
- Nudity or sexual acts shown to someone who did not agree to it, and any sexual content in live rooms.
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, or repeated contact after someone has made it clear they are not interested.
- Hate speech, or attacking someone over their race, religion, ethnicity, gender, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or any similar trait.
- Threats of violence, encouraging self-harm, or showing weapons in a threatening way.
- Recording, screenshotting or streaming other people to embarrass, threaten or blackmail them.
- Scams of any kind: requests for money, gift cards, crypto, account details, or offers of fake coin generators.
- Advertising, spam, or steering people toward outside sites and apps.
- Pretending to be someone else, including TumileChat staff.
- Sharing someone else's personal information, such as their address, phone number or workplace.
- Illegal activity, including drug sales and anything involving exploitation.
- Bots, scripts, multiple accounts or other tricks used to cheat matching, rewards or payments.
Live rooms
People who stream and people who watch follow the same rules. Hosts should not pressure viewers for gifts, and viewers should keep room chat civil. Gifts are always optional. Room entry conditions, such as tickets or follows, must be shown honestly.
Reporting
There is a report button in every call and every live room. Use it whenever you see something on this page being broken. Reports are private, and the person you report is not told who sent it. Please do not file false reports to get back at someone; that is itself a breach.
What happens after a report
Our safety team reviews reported sessions and decides on an outcome based on how serious the behaviour was and whether it has happened before. Outcomes range from a warning or a temporary restriction to permanent closure. The most serious breaches, including anything involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, threats or blackmail, end in closure the first time.
Moderation has limits. We cannot watch every live moment before it happens, so your own next and report buttons are always part of the picture.
Appeals
If you believe your account was restricted by mistake, email [email protected], giving your nickname and a brief note on what happened. Someone who did not make the first decision will review it and let you know the result.
Looking after yourself
- Keep private details, and anything that reveals where you live or work, out of chat and off camera.
- Do not send money to people you meet here.
- Leave any conversation that feels wrong. Report it if it broke these rules.
- If you are ever in danger, contact local emergency services first.
