Privacy Policy

TumileChat is a live chat service, so some information has to pass through our systems for it to work at all. We try to keep that to what the features need.

• Account details: the nickname you choose, the email or sign-in method you use, your stated age, and basic settings such as language.
• Profile information you add yourself, such as a photo or a short bio, plus the people you follow and who follows you.
• Messages you send through TumileChat, including text typed during calls, in live rooms and in direct messages.
• Match and call records: when a match or call took place, how long it lasted, and which mode was used.
• Coin, VIP and gift history, and payment confirmations from the payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Reports you file, reports filed about you, and the moderation notes attached to them.
• Technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location based on IP address, and diagnostic logs that help us keep the service running.

To make a call work, video and voice travel live between you and your match. Recording ordinary calls is not something we do as routine. When a session is reported, we may review material connected to that session, such as snapshots or messages, to decide whether rules were broken.

TumileChat only reaches your camera or microphone after your browser asks and you agree, and that permission can be switched off again from the browser settings whenever you like. Text mode works without either.

• To match you with other people and run video, voice and text chat.
• To translate messages when you tap the translate button.
• To keep your balance, purchases, VIP status and settings attached to your account.
• To review reports, remove rule breakers and protect people from harm.
• To fix bugs, prevent fraud and understand which features people actually use.
• To reply when you contact support.

The person you are matched with sees what you choose to show them: your nickname, age, country, level, language and whatever appears on camera. Profile details you add are visible to other members.

Behind the scenes we rely on service providers for hosting, streaming, translation, payment processing and analytics. They handle data on our behalf and only for those jobs. Your personal information is not something we trade or rent out to advertisers or data brokers. We may share information when the law requires it, or when doing so is necessary to keep a person from serious harm.

Account and profile information stays while your account is open. Messages, match history and technical logs are held only for a limited time, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Payment and moderation records may be held longer where we need them for accounting, disputes, legal duties, or to stop banned users from returning.

When we delete an account, the profile disappears from TumileChat and the related personal data is erased or anonymised, apart from records we must keep for the reasons above.

• Edit or remove profile details from your account settings.
• Hide your VIP badge if you would rather not show it.
• Turn off camera or microphone access in your browser.
• Request a copy of your data, have something corrected, or ask for full deletion by writing to [email protected] from the email tied to your account.

TumileChat is meant for people aged 18 and over. We never knowingly gather data about minors. Should an account turn out to belong to a minor, it is shut and the data tied to it is removed.
